Terms of Service

Build to Scale Shops lets sellers create a storefront, list digital downloads and services (including services booked through the seller's own external booking link), and take payments through their own Stripe account.

• Give accurate information and keep your login details secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, or have a parent or guardian's permission.

• Publishing a shop requires a paid plan: Starter $5/month (up to 5 visible products), Seller $19/month (up to 25) or Business $39/month (up to 100). All plans include the same features.
• Plans are billed monthly by Stripe and renew until canceled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
• If you move to a smaller plan or your plan ends, products over the limit are hidden, not deleted.
• Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

• Sellers are independent. Each seller is the seller of their own products and services and is responsible for describing them accurately, delivering them, honoring their booking links and their stated refund policy, handling buyer questions, and meeting any tax or legal obligations for their sales.
• Buyer payments are direct charges processed by Stripe on the seller's own Stripe account. Sellers receive their proceeds, pay Stripe's processing fees, and are responsible for their sales. Build to Scale Shops charges no commission on those sales.
• To take payments, sellers must complete Stripe's onboarding and follow Stripe's terms. Stripe handles losses under the payment account configuration used for new sellers.
• Don't sell or upload anything illegal, infringing, deceptive or harmful, or anything Stripe doesn't allow.

When you buy from a shop, you're buying from that seller. Your order page gives you access to your download or booking link after payment is confirmed. For questions or refunds on a purchase, contact the seller using the support email on their shop.

You keep ownership of the content you upload. You give us permission to store, display and deliver it as needed to run your shop and fulfill orders.

You can stop using the service and cancel your plan anytime. We may suspend or remove shops or content that break these terms or the law, or that put buyers or the service at risk.

We work to keep Build to Scale Shops available and secure, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that can't be limited.

We may update these terms. We'll change the "last updated" date above, and for significant changes we'll tell sellers by email or in the dashboard.
